Licenses are renewed biennial with continuing education requirements, not to exceed 12 clock hours bienneally as a condition for renewal of license. (Title 59 Section 2037, F)

Provisional licenses are available to a person licensed in another state OR a graduate of an approved ed program who has applied to take the examination. Licenses are issued for 6 months under the supervision of a consenting licensed RCP or physician.
